The surfacing around the swings at Freethorpe Playing Field is in line for a refresh, following the award of grants from the National Lottery Community Fund and Broadland District Council's Community Grant Scheme. The work is being carried out by NGF Play Ltd., and is scheduled for spring 2024. It will provide a recycled rubber mulch surface on a stone base, which will improve safety for the children who use the swings.

The Parish Council is very grateful to both the National Lottery Community Fund and Broadland District Council for their support to our community.
